A sensitive-mouth pouch brief should specify a mild sensory target without implying a proven desensitizing effect. The word “gentle” is not a substitute for evaluation.
Describe what mild means
Clarify aroma, cooling, sweetness and pouch texture in ordinary sensory language. A physical reference can make the discussion more concrete. Do not assume that one low-intensity flavor will be suitable for every person who reports sensitivity.
Separate comfort from a therapeutic claim
A product that feels mild has not thereby been shown to treat tooth sensitivity or dental pain. Any desensitizing positioning raises its own evidence and market questions. Keep the development category distinct from an established clinical result.
Evaluate the finished configuration
Pouch material, shape, composition and use conditions should be considered together. If a component changes, identify whether the existing review still applies. Persistent sensitivity or pain belongs with a dental professional rather than a self-selected product category.
Put the decision into your project record
Use a short record that names the product or sample version, the decision required, the supporting information and the person responsible for approval. If a point is unresolved, record the next action before moving to the following approval. This makes the discussion more useful than a general request for the “best” formula or package.
For a production quotation, identify each SKU and its quantity. The current minimum is 3,000 cans per SKU and 9,000 cans per order. Sample evaluation is discussed separately and does not create a production order.
Questions to bring to the discussion
Do sensitive-mouth pouches desensitize teeth?
No desensitizing effect is claimed for these development concepts. Such positioning requires evidence and a regulatory pathway for the specific finished product.
Can the cooling sensation be reduced?
A lower-cooling target can be specified. Compare physical samples against an agreed sensory brief instead of relying on flavor names.
