Fruit photography can help a buyer navigate a flavor library, but it does not prove that the finished pouch contains the pictured fruit.

Separate flavor direction from ingredient presence

A mango, berry or citrus name describes the sensory brief in this catalog. The final formula may use a flavor system rather than the whole food shown. Confirm the actual ingredient list and the wording appropriate for the target market before artwork approval.

Review supporting declarations

Ask for information relevant to flavor composition, allergens, carriers and any natural-origin claim. A familiar ingredient image cannot substitute for those records. Avoid assuming that a source-menu name establishes a sugar-free, vegan, organic or allergen-free status.

Use images consistently

Select a distinct image that helps identify the sensory direction without adding a health claim. Keep public flavor descriptions generic where a source menu refers to another company’s beverage brand. The buyer should be able to understand the flavor without mistaking it for a licensed branded product.

Put the decision into your project record

Use a short record that names the product or sample version, the decision required, the supporting information and the person responsible for approval. If a point is unresolved, record the next action before moving to the following approval. This makes the discussion more useful than a general request for the “best” formula or package.

For a production quotation, identify each SKU and its quantity. The current minimum is 3,000 cans per SKU and 9,000 cans per order. Sample evaluation is discussed separately and does not create a production order.

Questions to bring to the discussion

What should I send with this question?

Include the target market, product direction, relevant sample or model code and the decision you want to make. Attach current specifications or evidence where available.

Does this guide establish product effectiveness?

No. It is sourcing and development guidance. Finished-product suitability, claims and commercial terms require a project-specific review.
