Check the exact configuration
Identify the model, material, closure components and any inserts or seals in the proposed package. Test results for a different configuration may not answer the question for your product. Ask the supplier to explain which configuration the records cover.
Review the record rather than the icon
Request the applicable report or certification and verify the issuing organization, standard, tested package and scope. A triangle symbol or a disposal icon is not a substitute for performance evidence. Do not convert a catalog label into a universal compliance statement.
Keep labeling and handling aligned
The final package may need instructions or warnings appropriate to its market and contents. Review those details with qualified parties. Packaging performance, product safety and labeling are connected decisions, but one cannot be inferred from the other.
Put the decision into your project record
Use a short record that names the product or sample version, the decision required, the supporting information and the person responsible for approval. If a point is unresolved, record the next action before moving to the following approval. This makes the discussion more useful than a general request for the “best” formula or package.
